Whether you are packing your own boxes or wanting professional movers to pack your boxes, look no further! 

Not all boxes are the same…

• Small Boxes are for books, bricks,  and other heavy small items. 
• Medium Boxes are the catch all - they are perfect for kitchens, garage items, and misc. Items throughout the house. 
• Large Boxes are for smaller appliances and soft items, such as pillows, linens, clothes, etc. 
• Wardrobe Boxes are for hanging clothes. 
• Glass Packs are thicker sturdier boxes that are used for breakables and valuables. 
• Additionally, trash bags may be used for clothes and other soft items - movers can actually utilize their truck space better this way -  ask us about this option during your free estimate.

Where to get packing supplies…

• We recommend getting boxes from Lowes. From our experience, they have been the sturdiest and most functional. If you are not looking to purchase new boxes, we recommend checking out Facebook Marketplace - there are multiple posts daily, and often, these posts include other packing materials! Additionally, you can purchase boxes through U-Haul and Home Depot.
• We recommend getting packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, and Sharpies through Amazon. You can purchase these things at Lowes as well, but we have been extremely satisfied by the Amazon Brand packing supplies and they are a much more economical choice. WE LOVE THE AMAZON BRAND PACKING TAPE - some other tape brands are very difficult to work with. 

How to label boxes…

• We recommend marking the top of the box AND the side of the box with the room that the box needs moved to, and also, marking if the box contains fragile items. This way, your movers can see where the box is going to, even if it is stacked under other boxes - if only the top of the box is marked, it can add to the time/cost of the move because we need to remove the boxes stacked on top before seeing where it goes. 
• The Lowes boxes have convenient spaces to check for which room they go to and if fragile possessions are packed inside the box.
• Pre-printed label stickers can be purchased on Amazon as well if you want to go that route. 

How Bulldogs Moving Co. packs like a pro…

• Typically, we prefer to send our professional packers out the day before the move to pack, so that the house is fully prepared to go for moving day. We do not have a trip charge for this. Occasionally, if the packing needs are minimal, we may pack the same day as the move. 
• You do not have to use our moving services in order to use our packing services. 
• It is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Some customers want no packing - some want full house packing and no unpacking - some want full service packing and unpacking - some want just the kitchen packe
• We offer two pricing options for packing: 
  
  • Flat-Rate Option - Regardless of how much packing materials and how many boxes we use, we build a custom contract at a set mutually agreed upon price. 
  • Box Count Option - We charge per box packed, built into the box cost is all the materials and labor. For instance, packing a small box may be $5 per box, a medium box may be $6 per box, and so on. Pricing changes due to supply and demand of packing materials, give us a call to find out our current packing rates for the Box Count Option. 
• We only offer an hourly rate option for unpacking services.
  • ​​For unpacking, we charge our standard hourly moving rates since we ensure customers have their possessions placed exactly where they want them in their new home.
