We love Toy Story! I mean who doesn’t, right? However, there were some major flaws in the movers Andy’s mom hired. Make sure you avoid making the same mistakes... They did not tape the boxes.Taping both the bottom and the top of every box is by far the most effective way to keep everything inside. Avoid the folding panels method as it is very easy for this method to fail and while being moved. All of your items are subject to failing out (or even escaping). Take the extra time to tape up. They did not stack or strap in the truck.Stacking and strapping is an essential part of the moving process. It is important to place stackable items on each other to save space in the truck. Strapping is critical to ensuring everything is secured against the wall to avoid any boxes or important belongings falling off onto the truck floor. They did not wrap or use moving blankets to protect.Moving blankets are needed to keep your items protected during transportation. Commercial grade moving blankets should be used in covering all furniture pieces as well as lining the floor under your fabric couches or mattresses to keep your items off the truck floor. Plastic wrap should also be used on dressers and similar furniture pieces to ensure the drawers are secured and the wood has extra protection. They used a lift gate truck.Don’t get me wrong here, lift gates can be very useful for super heavy items such as gun safes, tool boxes, bulky exercise equipment, etc. But for this move a ramp on the truck would be way more efficient and effective in getting all items onto and off the truck. Time saved = money saved. They didn't use Bulldogs Moving Co.Although Andy’s family moved back 30+ years before Bulldogs ever existed they did not have the choice to use our services. You do have the option to use us and we would appreciate getting the opportunity to serve you.
